Deanwood has capacity to hold large gatherings and functions within the Barn. Formerly an Equestrian centre, the Barn has been modernised to a working conference and convention centre. Sports Hall/ Conference Centre
Our spacious indoor hall provides the perfect venue for a variety of activities, whatever the weather .
Available June to October, the Conference/Sports Hall is 23m x 15m (76’ x 49’) with a floor space of 345m² (3750sq.ft) and a 6.1 metre (20 ft) ceiling height.
It has tiered seating on the east side and a concrete floor (with carpet and acoustic panels as an option). It can seat up to 400 people, or if holding a reception, 500.
If you are using it for leisure, we offer a Pool Table, Badminton, Table tennis, Foosball, etc

Meeting Room N1
A quiet room with its own kitchenette situated at the rear of the building. Ideal for meetings, training sessions, workshops, family gatherings – often hired with group accommodation
in the cottages.
This room will comfortably seat 50 in rows, 36 around tables or 18 in a U shape and has access to toilets.
The kitchenette has a small fridge, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. N1 has direct access to outside and overlooks the Forest of Dean.
Meeting Room D1
This quiet, versatile function room is furnished with tables and chairs and offers access to nearby toilet facilities. With high-speed Wi-Fi and plenty of power outlets, it’s ideal for meetings, presentations, workshops, or as a breakout and relaxation space when using the Conference or Sports Hall. An adjoining door provides direct access to the main hall.
D1 can hold up to 80 people seated.
Caravan Winter Storage
From November to March, the two large halls in the Barn are used as storage for motorhomes, caravans, boats, sports or veteran cars, when the weather is colder.
The storage is secure, rodent-free and has insulated walls and roof panelling.
