A spacious 2 storey cottage facing the central courtyard, with recently laid laminate wood floor in the living area and comfortable reclining leather 3 piece suite, Dining table and five chairs, TV, Freeview and DVD players and a selection of books and games. Centrally heated and double glazed throughout and fully equipped for 5 people. Bath sheets, hand towels and bed linen are provided in all our holiday accommodation, and the beds will be made up ready for your arrival. The washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer are located in the Laundry Room (no charge).

    First Floor: Double bedroom; Second bedroom sleeps 3 in full size bunk beds and a full size single bed.

    Dogs are welcome in this cottage.

Playground a big hit with our small boys! Loads to see in the area and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. Would like to return! Thank you. P.S. Had some great days out including train ride into Cardiff, walk into Lydney through forest, Bristol Zoo. Our favourites were Clearwell Caves and Puzzlewood. Wonderful. Have had some fab days out at Eastnor Castle, Wookey Hole & Deanwood Heritage Centre as well as plenty of visits to Bathurst Pool – the kids loved cooling down there in the outdoor pool on a hot summer’s day and getting lost in the maze at Symonds Yat (which we got to eventually depsite road closure!). Both dogs had a wonderful time, walks, runs, plenty of sticks to carry every day – the puppy not the older dog! Food out has been more than excellent. The Cock Inn in Blakeney is a cut above the rest, the Miners Arms Whitecroft, the Butchers Arms Clearwell and today we are going to the Woodman at Parkend. We are taking leaflets home for 2 lots of camping friends who are probably interested. P.S. We looked in at the Woodman but didn’t stay. My children aged 8 & 6 had a lovely time playing in the paddock & play barn. We went on a walk and a bug hunt. The Dean Forest Cycle Hire at Parkend was fabulous. We all enjoyed the Family Cycle Trail, even my Mum who is nearly 60 and not been on a bike for many years.
