A spacious 2 storey cottage facing the central courtyard, with recently tiled living area and comfortable leather 3 piece suite. Centrally heated throughout and fully equipped for 5 people. TV, Freeview and DVD players, full size electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment. Dining table with five chairs. Selection of books and games.

    Ground Floor: Entrance hall with stairs leading to first floor. Open plan lounge/dining /kitchen; Bathroom with shower over bath.
    First Floor: Double bedroom; Twin bedroom with a full size trundle bed under one of the single beds which pulls out to sleep a third person.

    Pets are welcome in this cottage.

Tintern Abbey well worth visiting and we did need to use the local vets in Lydney who were brilliant. Lovely cottage and setting and the owners could not be more helpful. Gloucester Cathedral was amazing and so was Symonds Yat. Bathurst outdoor swimming pool was a great find as temperatures soared.     Badgers Cottage, Forest of Dean Holiday Accommodation, 21 – 28 August 2015. ‘We all enjoyed our week stay in this lovely cottage. We walked in the woods, we visited Raglan Castle, Clearwell Caves, the Butterfly Zoo where ther is also a hedge maze and miniature golf course. We walked around Symonds Yat Rock which has amazing views of the Wye Valley and miles around. We also went to Lydney Harbour to see the boats and the bridges. All were fantastic value for money. We went to Goodrich Castle which was amazing, such a big castle. Definately would love to come back again!
